Studio Move

For the past three years East End Press has been based in Crownpoint Studios in Bridgeton, Glasgow. In March we made the move down the road to the newly developed Rogart Street Complex. Rogart Street is home to loads of great creative businesses including JuJu Books and my old Crownpoint neighbours VAU. It has over 150 tenants, mainly working in the creative industries, and is a hub of creativity and ideas and is a great community to be part of. Leaving the old studio was a mixture of emotions- East End Press was started in Crownpoint Studios and it has served us well over the past few years as the business has grown and changed. I have some really good memories of the old studio and it'll always have a special place in my heart!

The actual studio move was far more work and stress than  anticipated (just so much stuff to move!) but now East End Press is settled in its been a great decision! The new studio still has wall to wall south facing windows and tall, airy ceilings but is a much warmer, more secure and more comfortable environment. Soon we'll arrange some workshops to christen the new space so keep an eye on facebook or instagram or sign up to the mailing list if you’re keen to take part!
